Basic Game Controls

Master of Lore is primarily text-driven, but a few key buttons and commands make the experience smooth and interactive.

Main Controls

• Prompt Box → type (or dictate on mobile) what your character wants to do.
• Use Ability → open your character sheet and roll a test using your abilities and skills.
• Loot → collect items available in your current location or on NPCs.
• Status → check your character’s stats, tension, inventory, and active missions.
• Conversation Mode → when speaking to an NPC, everything you type is interpreted as dialogue.
  

Tips for Playing

• Be clear and descriptive: the more detail you give, the more accurate and immersive  Loremaster’s responses will be.
• If you feel stuck, use:
  Status: What should I do next?
  Loremaster will give you a hint without revealing everything.
• Remember that refusing a difficult test and trying another approach can be the key to success.
