Category Overviews

Every universe in Master of Lore belongs to a broad narrative category, helping players choose the type of adventures they enjoy most. These categories define the tone, rules, and challenges of the experience.

  • 🧝 Fantasy → classic role-playing with magic, kingdoms, and legendary creatures. Loom – Woven Worlds is the first example, weaving politics, rebellion, and sorcery.
  • 🕰️ Myths & Legends → epic sagas and folklore. Expect gods, heroes, and larger-than-life struggles.
  • 👁️ Horror → psychological and cosmic dread. Dreams of the Old Ones is the prime example, where investigation and sanity tests define survival.
  • 🌍 Other Realms → experimental or surprising settings that break tradition, from pulp adventures (King Kong) to surreal journeys (Wonderland).

These categories are not limits — they are entry points. Each world expands the boundaries of interactive storytelling while letting you choose the type of legend you want to live.
